Deirdre is wife to Tim and mother to 3 wonderful children, enjoys Bible study, quilting, crocheting and genealogy.  She makes her own bread and enjoys growing herbs and vegetables.

Deirdre loves what she does!  As a child she spent most days lugging out the portable manual typewriter, the Sears and Roebuck Catalog, a set of pens, a tablet of paper or a carbon sales tablet (if she was lucky) and last but not least an old telephone. She would then begin to take orders over the phone as customers called her one after the other on her telephone. Playing office was one of her favorite things to do. Which is one reason she had to have “Office” in her business name.  She loved “playing” office and now her work is almost play to her. But she always takes your work seriously!

Most recently Deirdre has assisted coaches, internet marketers,  real estate professionals, churches, and more with their internet marketing needs. She has experience with the following: WordPress Blogsites, AWeber, 1ShoppingCart, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Office and many more programs that a business needs to grow and prosper on the internet. She can help build your email list, set up your social media profiles, and create a winning e-newsletter for your business.

She has over 20 years experience working in various office settings.  Her extensive background began as a child answering the phone for her father’s paperhanging/painting business.  From there she moved very easily into the public sector never batting an eye.  She has worked in a pharmacy, physician’s office, Hospice, state government agencies, church offices and even McDonalds.

While working in those settings she took advantage of every training opportunity, including desktop publishing, Microsoft Office Training programs, as well as several other programs.  She had the privilege to design forms, publicity materials, trainer presentations, newsletters, bulletins, and many other word processing projects.  She has also coordinated meetings, events, trainings, and special appreciation programs from the beginning to the end, including, travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, meeting space, registration, materials for attendees, PowerPoint presentations, meals, and refreshments.

Deirdre is an active member of several networking groups including: Virtual Assistant Networking Association,  Alliance for Virtual Business, and Virtual Assistant Forums.  By participating in these groups she keeps her skills up to date through the training provided by each group.  She was also a volunteer for the 3rd annual Online International Virtual Assistant Convention (OIVAC).
